Mainstreet Holdings is a holding company for a group of businesses supplying branded and non-branded
consumer goods. Mainstreet businesses operate in the personal care, general non-foods merchandise, clothing and apparel sectors. Mainstreet was created to bring together a series of similar businesses whereby a centralized “brains trust” could solve industry issues and more importantly exploit opportunities that would otherwise be difficult for the businesses to achieve individually. All of Mainstreet’s businesses, like Sunpac, are managed autonomously by experienced management teams.

Mainstreet is a private company owned by a consortium comprising Molash, Sasfin and management.

Sunpac – Sunpac has over 36 years’ experience in the supply of personal care, baby and haberdashery product ranges. We have established excellent relationships with all the major retailers in South Africa; these include Baby Boom, Baby City, Clicks, Dis-Chem, Edgars, Foschini, Pick ‘n Pay, Shoprite Checkers and Woolworths, providing them with a combination of private label programmes, as well as the supply of international brands. We also work with over 300 independent retailers in Southern Africa. Sunpac is a rapidly growing company and we are continually adding new brands and customers to our portfolio. We have recently launched the premium brand QVS, a cosmetic accessories brand and Marc Anthony, a salon-inspired hair care brand into the South African market.

Raymond

Raymond has over 20 years experience in the pharmacy retail and 15 years in accessory importing and distribution.

Shaun Laffer

Shaun is a registered Chartered Accountant with over 8 years auditing and merchant banking experience. Shaun joined Sunpac in 2002 and was appointed MD in 2006.

Wayne Gardener

Wayne has over 16 years experience in retail buying, sales and marketing. Wayne became Deputy MD in 2009.

Wayne Gomer

Wayne is a registered Chartered Accountant and has over 11 years experience in systems maintenance, development and financial management.

Philip Delport

Philip has over 15 years experience with Sunpac in production, packaging, systems and logistics.
